SeeClickFix has an automatic moderations system. Content that is not immediately posted to the public-facing platform is content that our system has flagged for moderation. If content is under review or has been confirmed as against the SeeClickFix Terms of Use, then the content will be hidden and the following language will show:
"This content is currently blocked. The content is either under review by SeeClickFix or has been confirmed by SeeClickFix for violation(s) of SeeClickFix Terms of Use (https://legal.seeclickfix.com/terms-of-use/ ). Content that aligns with SeeClickFix Terms of Use will be posted, and content that does not align with our Terms of Use will not be permitted for public viewing."
More About Moderations
We have a list of keywords that trigger moderation, as well as the option for content to be flagged for review. Users, both residents and partners, can flag issues for review by our SeeClickFix system moderators. A SeeClickFix system moderator is not a member of your local municipality or organization. They are a member of the SeeClickFix team.
Content that aligns with our Terms of Use will be posted to the site; whereas, content that does not align with our Terms of Use will not be permitted for public viewing. If the content you recently posted has not been immediately cleared to the public-facing website, please allow some time for our system moderators to review and clear your content for publishing.
Content that aligns with our Terms of Use will be posted to the site; whereas, content that does not align with our Terms of Use will not be permitted for public viewing.
Unhelpful or Inappropriate Requests/Comments
Requests and comments created by other users can sometimes be unhelpful or inappropriate. Upon review, content that does not align with our Terms of Use will be blocked from the public-facing view; however, content that does not break our Terms of Use may be posted.
Any user can "flag" content for review from the web portal or mobile applications. If you are flagging content, please provide as much detail as possible as to why this does not fit with the SeeClickFix Terms of Use.
