You don't need to create an account or display your real name to report an issue to your area. Use these steps to report as an anonymous or guest user.
To start reporting issues as a guest, follow these steps.
- Navigate to your local organization's web page through a map widget to report as a guest.
- Enter a neighborhood and/or city into the Report neighborhood issues and see the get fixed field.
- Press Enter or Click on the Arrowhead.
- Click on the Report an Issue button.
- Fill out the form.
- Click or drag the pin to the location of the issue, or type in an address to the location of the issue. The information should automatically populate in the form if click or drag.
- Create a clear Issue Title and Description.
- Upload an image, if available.
- Click the Submit Your Issue button.
When you've completed an issue report, you'll see a prompt to select from the following options:
- Submit as yourself
- Hide your identity
- Submit as a guest
When selecting Submit as Guest, you'll see a message that you will not receive updates about this issue. This is because we do not collect an email address associated with this issue submission. We've also added the reCAPTCHA form to confirm that you are not a bot.
If you would like to receive email updates about the issue, you can select "Hide your identity" to submit the issue anonymously. You'll need to sign up for an account if you don't have one. Log into your account to submit the request, and note that your name and contact details will not be shared with the receiving organization.
Once "Submit as Guest" or "Hide your identity" is selected, then the issue will be submitted under a generic display name.
